New Essay: Vigil in the Afternoon

My new essay “Vigil in the Afternoon” appears in the sumptuous Creation issue of The Other Journal out of the Seattle School of Theology and Philosophy. This is about one of my favorite pieces of classical music, Sergei Rachmaninoff’s All-Night Vigil, and the realities of the not-quite-post-pandemic world.
